Thank you for providing this forum to express our outrage over the ugly turn this country has taken these past several months (years actually). A truly free enterprise system requires the demise of any "species" that has proven unfit to evolve and meet the current demand and economic climate. This way, the assets & labor of a failed enterprise can then be arsorbed by those able to meet & conquer the challenges of survival. To have our government step in and alter the fate of any enterprise in a free market system is an abomination & a threat to our existence in a free America.

I support the proposed boycott, and I like to challenge everyone to reconsider their definition of "american". Having a post office box address in Detroit, Michigan does not really qualify any of the "big three" to be considered an american auto manufacturer. I believe anyone with the courage to challenge this notion & perform a bit of research will find these organizations to be less "american" than Honda, Toyota & Nissan (etc)...by virtue of the % of parts manufactured and the amount of competitive employment right here on american soil. While I'm proud that Ford has not gone over to the dark side as of yet...we as americans need to consider what is truly best for America each & every time we purchase goods and services. Any organization that that helps put food on american tables & helps us to keep our slice of real estate in this great country is OK in my book. However, let's be careful where our assumptions lead us in this endeavor. This isn't our grandfather's auto industry any longer.
