911 Consipracy Theories
I just felt that I had to make this short post about the World Trade Center terrorist attack of 9/11. Over the years I have heard so many people hint or suggest that they believe the whole thing was some kind of US government orchestrated plan. Many of these people think that it was intended to sway public opinion to justify a middle east war. I was torn over making this post because I did not want to dignify the people making those claims. But, in an effort to provide a little self therapy for myself, I just have to get these feelings out. I really think Penn & Teller did a good job of stating my stance on the whole thing.
You people who think that some politician puppet master or secret group of powerful businessmen are actually capable of pulling this kind of stunt off are in need of some serious therapy. You cannot find one single piece of definitive proof from any of the 911 conspiracy theorists that gives their hypothesis any credibility. It is all a bunch of politically motivated circumstantial bullshit. Get your heads out of your asses. Politicians really are elected by us citizens you friggin morons. If you think they are corrupt or involved in some sinister plot then vote them out of office. Don’t invent some cock-a-mamee story about how Dr. Evil planned the whole thing.
Where is your patriotism people? Have you no love for our country whatsoever? If you do then stop making shit up to try to get a political point across. Using tactics like made up consipracy theories just weakens your case. One great freedom we still have in the United States is the freedom to voice our opinions in public. Use it. But, don’t make shit up.
To those people who lost loved ones in the terrorist attacks that day, please know that even eight years after the attacks, I and many people across America still feel for your loss and sympathize with you.
